How to create a QR code (with a logo, as SVG)
Create a colored, print-ready vector QR code with your logo for a link, Wi-Fi, email, or phone number.
A QR code turns a link into a single scan for menus, business cards, packaging, and posters. QR codes made with Pixovec are static codes that never expire, and you can download them as vector SVG, so they stay sharp on a business card or a giant poster.
Steps
1) At /app/qr, pick the content type: link, text, Wi-Fi, email, or phone. 2) Enter the details; the preview updates instantly. 3) Set the foreground and background colors and the margin. 4) Optionally add your logo in the center. 5) Download as SVG or PNG.
Wi-Fi QR codes
Choose the Wi-Fi type and enter the network name and password; guests can scan the code with their phone camera and join without typing the password. Handy for cafés, offices, and homes.
Keeping it scannable
Use a dark foreground on a light background; inverted colors trip up some readers. When you add a logo, error correction automatically goes up to the highest level (H) so the code still scans. Test the code with a few different phones before printing.
Frequently asked questions
- Do the QR codes expire?
- No. The codes are static; the content is written into the code itself and doesn't depend on any server.
- Does it cost anything?
- Previewing and adjusting are free. Downloading an SVG or PNG costs 1 credit; new accounts start with 5 free credits.
- Which format should I use for print?
- SVG. It's vector, so it stays sharp at any size and printers can use it directly.
